Matthew Lato, Ph.D. Eng., P.Eng. (BC, AB, SK) is a Principal Engineer with BGC, an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Geological Sciences and Geological Engineering at Queen’s University, and an Affiliate Faculty Member in the Department of Geology and Geological Engineering at the Colorado School of Mines. He is currently involved in the supervision of Masters, Ph.D., and post-doctoral students. Dr. Lato acts as a peer reviewer for over 15 international journals in the field of natural hazards, engineering geology, and rock mechanics.
